Behind the scenes > Meet Marilyn
In March, the latest Archibald winner was announced, but did you know we have Archibald-winning artists adorning the walls at Bureaux? Amongst our more controversial pieces is the much-loved ‘Marilyn’ in the library of Bureaux Sydney, created by Garry Shead.
Garry Shead is one of Australia’s most popular and distinctive artists and printmakers, particularly renowned for his lyrical figurative works. His paintings are represented in the National Gallery of Australia, in leading state and regional galleries and in international collections. In 1993 he won Australia's most prodigious portrait prize, The Archibald. You can read more about Marilyn in the Library next time you pop in to Bureaux.

Melbourne Update
Work on our newest site in Melbourne continues unabated. The new Bureaux is situated in the heart of the city, on Lonsdale Street, which offers a perfect venue should your business find you in Melbourne. The scheduled launch is mid May, and we would love to see you there. Full details will be in next month’s newsletter.
