1.      Introduction - These Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time, govern all aspects of Bureaux™ membership. They are intended to protect the Applicant as a member of Bureaux™, and Bureaux™ itself. Each member of Bureaux™ is responsible for remaining aware of the Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions are effective as at the date of publication and may be amended from time to time and published on the website at www.bureaux.com. Every effort has been made to ensure the information provided in relation to Bureaux™ membership is correct. However, to the extent permitted by law, Bureaux™ Corporate Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy or misdescription.

 

2.      Definitions - In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:

·  Benefits’ means any of the facilities, discounts, services or arrangements offered or available to the Member from time to time as a result of Bureaux™ membership;

·   Card’ means Bureaux™ membership card issued to the individual member, small business or corporate membership group;

·   Individual Member’ means the person who has been issued with a card and who is an individual member of Bureaux™;

·   Small Business Membership’ means the two people who have been issued with cards and who are small business members of Bureaux™;

·   Corporate Membership’ means the designated group holding the cards issued whose members make up a corporate membership of Bureaux™.

 

3.      Types of Membership - Individual membership is open to individuals who are over 18 years of age. Small business membership may be available to a business that has two defined members. The individuals have a common expiry date and their membership is transferable to other employees of the same business. Corporate membership may be available to businesses and corporations that allow multiple individuals to use Bureaux™ membership. The individuals may have a common expiry date and their membership is transferable to another employee of the same business.

 

4.      Changes to the Terms and Conditions  - Bureaux™ reserves the right at all times to vary the Bureaux™ membership Terms and Conditions or Benefits offered at any time. Bureaux™ will use reasonable endeavours to advise Members of any such changes, but will not be liable in any way for any failure to do so.

 

5.      Membership  - Membership is non-refundable and, except as specified in these Terms and Conditions and in the case of a Small Business and Corporate Membership, is not transferable. Applicants may enrol for any one of the types of membership listed in clause 3, provided that the applicable requirements are satisfied. Upon acceptance of enrolment in Bureaux™ membership, each Member will be assigned a membership number and issued with a Card, and assigned a Personal Identification Number (PIN). These, along with surname, mother’s maiden name, date of birth, date of joining and mailing address will be used for security of membership information. It is the Member’s responsibility to ensure the Card and PIN are kept secure. Each Member shall be responsible for advising Bureaux™ administration in writing of any change of name or address. Documentation verifying a name change is required. It is a condition of membership that the Applicant consents and authorises Bureaux™ to use and disclose to any other person (including without limitation a related body corporate, agent or contractor) the information on the application form and other information provided to Bureaux™ for the purpose of: 

i     Bureaux™ providing services; 

ii    Bureaux™ improving Bureaux™ customer service, including by means of research, marketing, product development and planning;

iii   Bureaux™ marketing its products or services or the products or services of its partners; and

iv    Any third party providing services to Bureaux™ and Members in connection with the administration of Bureaux™

      membership.

This information will be transferred to or from Bureaux™ locations world-wide for these purposes. If all or any part of the requested information is not provided by the Member, the services provided to the Member by Bureaux™ may be affected. Bureaux™ will provide the Member with access to and correction of personal information held by Bureaux™ on request by the Member to the extent permitted or required by law. Only the Member named on the account will be entitled to access account information. However, where required by law (e.g. criminal matters) your account information may be shared with others with or without your knowledge and consent. You must take responsibility for your actions on the network and systems you access through Bureaux™. If you act recklessly or irresponsibly or your actions endanger Bureaux™’s network or systems, your access may be suspended or terminated at any time, without notice. Bureaux™ requires you to act responsibly when consuming resources on Bureaux™’s premises. If you unreasonably consume resources beyond what is deemed reasonable Bureaux™ will talk with you about alternative arrangements, which may include a higher-user additional payment. 

 

6.      Use of the Card and Benefits - By using the Card and/or PIN, the Member agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. The Card is and will remain the property of Bureaux™ and must be returned on demand. It is not a payment card. The Card and membership number are valid for use only by the Member and are not transferable in any circumstances. The Card is valid for use only during the period indicated on it. In the event of loss, theft or unauthorised use of your Card, it is your responsibility to immediately advise Bureaux™ membership administration. Until loss, theft or unauthorised use of the Card is notified to Bureaux™, the Member is liable for all use of the Card. Bureaux™ will not be liable for misuse of a lost or stolen Card or any unauthorised use of a Card or PIN. Bureaux™ expressly reserves the right in its absolute discretion to withdraw, cancel, withhold, deny access to, or use of Bureaux™, or in any way change the membership fee or any of the benefits previously advertised or offered generally or to any Member at any time, and Bureaux™ will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Member resulting from such withdrawal, cancellation, variation or change.

 

7.      Images - Members consent to Bureaux using the their name, likeness, image and/or voice in any legitimate form of promotion/update/notices. Sources will be used by Bureaux alone and will not be used or sold by a third party. Images include those taken at any functions and events held by Bureaux.

 

8.      Replacement Cards - There is a Replacement Card Fee. Please contact Bureaux™ administration for the applicable fee. Bureaux™ may in its discretion waive the Replacement Card Fee if all requested documentation is provided and Bureaux™ considers that the request is genuine.

 

9.      Services of Bureaux™ Membership - Some of the Benefits which are offered to the Member are provided by suppliers over which Bureaux™ has no control. Arrangements for the availability and utilisation of the Benefits so offered are made by Bureaux™ solely as agents for the suppliers providing such Benefits. The provision of the Benefits will be subject, in each case, to the terms and conditions of the suppliers providing such Benefits and any claims relating to the supply of Benefits should be made to the supplier. Bureaux™ will not be liable for refusal of any supplier of Bureaux™ membership Benefits to accept or honour the Card nor will Bureaux™ be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever, whether in whole or part, of any Benefits. Whenever the Card is used in order to obtain or utilise Benefits, or Benefits are made available to the Member as a result of membership, whether these are provided by Bureaux™ or a Bureaux™ supplier, the Member will be liable for whatever nature and howsoever arising from or incurred in connection with obtaining or utilising the Benefits. Bureaux™ is not liable for any third party content on the Internet that the Member may find offensive, upsetting or defamatory. The Member is responsible for maintaining the security of all log-in identification information made available to them to access the internet. To the extent permitted by law: Bureaux™ is not liable for any personal security breaches suffered by the Member or their guests when using the business or internet access facilities in Bureaux™, and Bureaux™ is not liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of the unavailability of Internet access, including interruptions during use. Bureaux™ does not represent or warrant that Internet access is free from computer viruses or other defects. The user assumes all responsibility for all loss, damage or consequences resulting directly or indirectly from use of the business or Internet access facilities. To the extent permitted by law, Bureaux™ is not liable for any loss or damage suffered in respect of use of the business equipment or the Internet in the lounge.

 

10.   Termination - Bureaux™ expressly reserves the right to terminate or alter (materially or otherwise) any Benefits, or any aspect of the operation, of Bureaux™ membership at any time, without notice. Bureaux™ Corporate Pty Limited reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion and without notice to revoke, terminate or alter the membership of any Member of Bureaux™ and/or the right of any Member to use the Card or any benefits. The Card must be returned immediately to Bureaux™ when so demanded by Bureaux™ Administration. Bureaux™ may terminate a membership if, in the reasonable opinion of Bureaux™, the Member has:

·       Abused any facilities, services or arrangements accorded to the Member as a result of membership;

·       Acted in any way which is likely to be detrimental to the interests of Bureaux™ or Bureaux™ membership;

·       Supplied or attempt to supply misleading information, or make any misrepresentation to Bureaux™ membership.

 

11.   Guests - Guests of Bureaux™ Members must be accompanied by the Member and must be present only with the Member that day. Entry of Members’ guests will be subject to space availability. Bureaux™ staff have the discretion to refuse entry to any Member or guest at any time for any reason deemed appropriate by Bureaux™. Smart, casual dress standards apply at all times. Individual Bureaux™ site managers will have discretion to alter these standards if circumstances warrant. Due to operational reasons, member access to Bureaux™ locations may, from time to time, be restricted. Access policies for the use of Bureaux™ locations may vary. Current information can be obtained from Bureaux™ administration.

 

12.   Bureaux™ Refund  Policy - If you are not completely satisfied with your membership within 30 days of signing up for it, you will be given a full refund on your membership fee. Early cancellation means that any ongoing member benefits, special offers or discounts no longer apply. Refunds will be issued to the credit card provided at the time of signup. Beyond 30 days, whilst membership is not refundable, it is transferable if applied for in writing, as is up to a 3 month suspension on written application due to business or personal reasons. If your membership has been cancelled by Bureaux™ due to abuse of our services and/or a violation of the Terms and Conditions of membership, the money back guarantee will no longer apply. Cancellation requests must be made by regular mail or by email must be kept for any possible future reference.
